Statistics show that employees can spend up to 70% of their office time browsing internet, playing on-line games or chatting to their friends over the internet.

Most of the times it is not necessary to read the reports to see that the staff are engaging in internet entertainment during the work hours, rather then using that time to constructively improve or add value to the business.

By limiting and controlling web access only to work related web sites and/or  preventing access to the social web sites or chat programs, staff efficiency and creativity can be improved. At the same time risk of computer infections by web viruses and malware can be significantly reduced.

Adding email controls and monitoring procedures will also reduce possibility of work email abuse.
